Those who visit our website may upload their resumes (CVs) to the career section of our website and share with us their willingness to work at Ülker Şimşek Law Office (“Ülker Şimşek”).

We attach utmost importance to the security of your personal data included in the CV that you have shared with us. Your personal data that you have disclosed to us within the scope of job application and recruitment processes are processed by us in our online system under Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (LPPD). 

We process your personal data with the goal of protecting our office’s legitimate interests for processing and conducting all kinds of HR activities of our office, managing job application processes, processing and evaluating job applications, conducting general recruitment processes, employing qualified personnel as needed and contacting you within this scope, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms under Article 5/2(f) of the LPPD are not impaired. Even if your job application is rejected, your data will be stored for a reasonable period in compliance with the LPPD in order to contact you again in case of any potentially suitable open positions. All technical and organisational measures are taken with respect to the data collected. 

Your personal data will not be transferred to the third parties.

You can also visit our website without disclosing any personal data. The personal data included in the CVs of the candidates applying for an open position at Ülker Şimşek may be processed by our office as the Data Controller. In this extent, information such as:

  • your name, surname, photo and contact details included in your CV,
  • information on your educational and internship background,
  • activities, hobbies and interests stated in your CV,
  • information we have obtained from the references you have specified in your CV for the purpose of checking eligibility for employment,
  • any visual records obtained through the security camera footage taken during your visits to our office,
  • all kinds of information that you voluntarily provide throughout the recruitment process

are collected through online application forms, face-to-face interviews and electronic means. 


With respect to the processing of your personal data by Ülker Şimşek, you are entitled to exercise at any time your following rights within the framework of Article 11 of the LPPD by applying to the data controller (info@ulkersimsek.av.tr):

  • obtaining information on whether your personal data are processed or not,
  • if personal data are processed, requesting information on such processing,
  • obtaining information on the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether the processed data is used for such purpose,
  • being informed of the third persons to whom the personal data is transferred within and out of the country,
  • if personal data are processed incompletely or incorrectly, requesting the correction thereof,
  • requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data,
  • requesting that the processes related to the correction, deletion or destruction of personal data are notified to the third parties to whom such personal data have been transferred,
  • objecting to any adverse result caused by the analysis of the processed data solely by means of automatic systems,
  • requesting compensation of damages (if any) arising out of unlawful processing of personal data.
